WCHC Toronto PWHL Meet-Up
Join WCHC for a Toronto community meet-up at Scotiabank Arena as the Toronto Sceptres take on the Vancouver Goldeneyes. Girls are invited to join us for the game, sit together, meet new friends, and spend the night connecting with others in our community while cheering on the Sceptres. This meet-up is a fun, low-pressure way to enjoy a PWHL game together.

Sophie's Sisters (1)
Sophie’s Sisters is a special WCHC program designed to inspire the next generation of young players through community, mentorship, and representation. Each cohort brings together an intimate group of girls ages 8–10 for a memorable hockey experience centered around PWHL defender Sophie Jaques. The group attends a Vancouver Goldeneyes PWHL game together, cheering on Sophie from the stands and experiencing the excitement of professional women’s hockey as a team. After the game, participants enjoy an exclusive meet-and-greet where they have the chance to ask Sophie questions, learn about her journey, and hear firsthand what it means to pursue your dreams in the sport.
Nursey Night
Nursey Night is a special event created in partnership with Sarah Nurse, designed to celebrate representation, connection, and the joy of hockey. The event brings girls from the WCHC community together for an unforgettable night at a Vancouver Goldeneyes home game in Vancouver. Participants will attend the game as a group, cheering on the Goldeneyes and experiencing the excitement of professional women’s hockey firsthand. Following the game, attendees will have the opportunity to spend time together in a relaxed post-game hangout, creating space for conversation, community, and inspiration. As a proud member of the Black community, Sarah is deeply committed to making hockey a more inclusive and welcoming space while introducing more girls to the sport she loves.
WCHC PWHL Roadtrip: Ott/Mtl
Join WCHC for a special Ottawa–Montreal road trip experience designed for girls ages 14–18 who are looking to stay connected to the game, build community, and deepen their love of hockey. The trip begins with a team bus ride from Toronto to Ottawa, where we’ll attend the Ottawa Charge Black History Month game together. After the game, we’ll travel as a group to Montreal and stay overnight. The following day, we’ll attend a Montreal Victoire home game before returning to Toronto by bus.
This experience is meant to create space for connection, reflection, and shared experiences around hockey. Participants will have the opportunity to meet new friends, connect with other girls of colour who play the game, and spend intentional time together in an environment that supports community, belonging, and sustained passion for hockey.

Join WCHC for Toronto’s Black History Month game at Coca-Cola Coliseum as the Toronto Sceptres face the Minnesota Frost. Before the game, we’ll meet up to create posters, get hair done, make friendship bracelets, and hang out together. After the pre-game activities, we’ll head to the arena as a group to watch the game and celebrate Black History Month together in the stands.

Join WCHC for a Calgary community meet-up on April 1, starting with a pre-game hangout before heading to the game together. We’ll meet up ahead of the game to enjoy snacks, make posters, create friendship bracelets, get hair done, and spend time connecting with one another. After the pre-game activities, we’ll head to Scotiabank Saddledome as a group to watch the game together and cheer from the stands. This meet-up is a fun, relaxed way to connect, create, and experience a night of professional women’s hockey together.
